What we collect
You can read this website without giving us any personal information. We do not run user accounts, comments, a newsletter or any forms.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to deal with your message, and we keep it only as long as that takes, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change goes live and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
Technical data handled by our providers
Like every website, ours runs on servers that receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider and its content delivery network process this to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may keep it in server logs for a limited time.
On our product comparison and review pages, to show prices in your currency, your browser asks Cloudflare which country your connection is in, then asks SmilePro's online store for the price in that country. Both receive your IP address to answer, as any website you connect to does. No cookies are set, and your country is kept only in your browser for that visit.
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. To do this your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google's use of that information is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, including brands' and retailers' own stores (see our disclosure). Some of those links carry a tag that tells the other website you came from this site. Once you leave this site, the other website's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. To make a request, email editorial@oralhealthadvisory.org. We will respond within the time the law requires.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your data protection regulator: in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office, in Australia the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or the regulator in your own country.
